William D. Owens Research Fellowship

The Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine is seeking highly motivated individuals for an endowed fellowship honoring Dr. William Owens, former chairman of the department and president of the ASA. The Owens Fellowship is open to BC/BE anesthesiologists who want intensive training in either clinical or basic research. The Owens fellow will work with a senior investigator in any ongoing area of research relevant to anesthesiology. The fellowship extends over two years; a modest 20% clinical commitment is expected in order to maintain clinical skills.
