The annual Midwest Anesthesia Residents Conference (MARC) took place in Chicago, IL. on April 21-23. Six Residents earned honors for their work.

On April 21st, sixteen of our residents traveled to Chicago for the annual Midwest Anesthesiology Residents’ Conference.  This yearly meeting, which began at the University of Iowa in 1961, has grown into the largest anesthesia resident’s conference in North America and in the world.  MARC has a long history as a conference where residents, fellows, medical students, and faculty share prevailing ideas in the rapidly expanding medical specialty of anesthesiology.  Our residents presented a mixture of original research, quality improvement, and medically challenging cases.  Drs. Sarah Alber and Amrita Aranake were awarded first place in their divisions.  Drs. Chris Davis, Marko Todorovic, and Max Wolfson received 2nd place, and Dr. Jennifer Yuan received third place.  Congratulations to all our residents!
