Six Anesthesiology Residents Received Awards at the 2012 MARC

This year our department sent 17 residents to the annual Midwest Anesthesia Residents Conference (MARC) in Chicago. The MARC is the fourth largest anesthesiology meeting in the country and has a long history as a conference where residents, fellows, medical students, and faculty share prevailing ideas in the rapidly expanding medical specialty of anesthesiology. The conference draws professionals from over 30 academic institutions to present scientific abstracts including case reports, and attend educational panels in an atmosphere of professional collegiality.
