GereauDr. Gereau has been selected by the Graduate Student Senate to receive an Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award. These awards were created by graduate students in the Senate to honor faculty members whose commitments to graduate students and excellence in graduate training have made a significant contribution to the success of graduate students in Arts and Sciences at Washington University.

This is a great honor for Dr. Gereau as the Mentoring Committee of the Graduate Student Senate has selected just six Outstanding Faculty Mentors for 2011 from the entire University. These awards are based upon nominations and supporting letters from both current and former Washington University graduate Arts and Sciences students. The committee was impressed by Dr. Gereau’s dedication and sincere and active interest in his students as expressed in these nominations.
