Washington University's continued innovations in itch research featured in New York Times

Zhou Feng Chen, PhD, professor of anesthesiology, and Lynn Cornelius, MD, chief of the division of dermatology, have long be recognized as leaders in the burgeoning field of itch research. Together, Chen and Cornelius co-direct the Washington University Center for the Study of Itch (CSI). The CSI, founded in 2011, was the first multi-disciplinary research institute to focus on itch as a distinct phenomenon. Researchers working in the CSI continue to generate new knowledge on the subtleties of chronic itch, and the New York Times highlights their pioneering research.
